Isaac is a Trade and private sector development expert. He has specialised in development and implementation of trade policies, the implementation of agreements arising from multilateral and bilateral trade negotiations on market access and management of trade development funds. He served as a Trade Advisor at the Commonwealth Secretariat for 8 years providing technical support to 32 Commonwealth countries in Africa, Asia, South Pacific and the Caribbean.Between 2012 and 2015, Isaac was the Team leader and Fund Manager at the US$26million Trade Mark East Africa Challenge Fund. He is the authour of the widely used handbook on implementing national export strategies; "Implementing a National Export Strategy; Lessons from the Commonwealth" ISBN:978-1-84929-021-0 (Paperback)
He is the Technical Director, Trade and Private Sector Development Division.
