Wambui is a Finance and Audit Specialist with over 10 years' experience in financial systems strengthening; external audit and assurance; design and implementation of internal control systems; developing internal audit plans; conducting internal audit risk-based assignments; project financial planning including but not limited to execution of costing and budgeting techniques, accounting and chart of accounts design and has experience in running and overseeing roll out of Accounting ERP systems. She has consulted in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Ethiopia, Malawi, Mozambique, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Ghana, Niger, Burkina Faso and Zambia. She is an associate consultant with ALMACO.
